Kunal Chandiramani

Kunal Chandiramani is a Cofounder and Chief Executive Officer of ZeroToIP, where he leads the technical architecture of the platform. He has been building AI systems since 2018, well before large language models entered general use, and is a named inventor on the patents underlying ZeroToIP’s core technology, including its prior art architecture and its cryptographic audit chain. He previously founded and led KStar eCommerce, which grew to more than 100,000 artisan sellers across India before its sale in 2022.

He serves as a Venture Partner at Green Sands Equity, where he focuses on AI strategy, and as Chair of KStar Holdings. He advises conglomerates, startups, and institutions on AI strategy globally. He served as the first Entrepreneur in Residence in California State University Long Beach’s seventy year history. Kunal is a three-time TEDx speaker and serves on the board of Stanford Angels and Entrepreneurs Southern California, alongside other boards in the US and Asia. He hosts the DeTox Show, a podcast on high performance and resilience featuring leaders in business and sport.

ZeroToIP began with a problem Kunal kept watching founders create for themselves. Inventors were already using AI to draft their own patent applications, without structure, without prior art, and without anyone accountable for the result. Working with Rey inside a live patent practice, he built the infrastructure that version was missing: an AI system trained on real prosecution, with attorney supervision built into the architecture rather than added on top.
